$80 - $100k per annum plus super plus vehicle 
Melbourne (Projects predominantly in the West and North)

My client is a Tier 3 Civil Contractor based in the West of Melbourne, running several projects throughout the Melbourne metropolitan region. 

This is a new position within the company and an opportunity to shape the OHS processes within the projects and the team. The role will be based in the West of Melbourne with an OHS presence required on projects across the greater metropolitan Melbourne area.

The Role: 
-- Undertake risk assessments, SWMS and audits on site. 
-- Provide onsite advice on all OHS related queries 
-- Promote safety culture by building strong relationships with all members of the workforce. 
-- Manage HSEQ non conformance's
-- Manage incident investigations and identify root causes and preventative actions. 
-- Identify and create solutions from current OHS standards

The Candidate: 
-- Minimum of 3 years experience within a similar role (Civil experience is advantageous however candidates from a build construction background are also welcome to apply). 
-- Certificate IV Occupational Health and Safety 
-- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at ground level up. 
-- Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation 
-- Drivers License 
-- White Card 
-- Compliance experience with internal systems and Australian standards
