WHS Advisor 

Your new organisation

Our client is well known within their industry and is growing rapidly. They are looking for an experienced WHS Advisor to join their team for a 14 month maternity leave fixed term contract to start immediately to help make a difference in this great local business.

Your new role

In this busy and diverse WHS Advisor role, you will develop and maintain the WHS Management System to ensure all legislative requirements and best practise standards are met, whilst ensuring a safe work place. You will provide appropriate advice, coach and support stakeholders will all matters relating to WHS. You will manage the Injury management process as well as ppartner with Leadership, the WHS Committee and workers to facilitate continuous improvement of WHS Management Systems.

Who are you?

  • Demonstrated at least 3 years experience working with WHS legislation and WHS management Systems
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in WHS preferred but not essential
  • Return to work experience and exposure
  • Effective communication skills to liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to write reports, policies and procedures
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Suite and computer savvy
