Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator

Banyule is looking for an experienced Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator to join the People & Culture and Risk Management team on a permanent full-time basis.

 

About the role

As the Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator you will lead the Safety & Wellbeing Advisors, the Safety Management Project Lead and Injury Management RTW Advisor and will be accountable for the day to day operations of the team and implementing a sustainable business partnering model across Council. Over the next 12 months this will include the implementation of an improved safety management framework and system as well as a change management program regarding safety culture.

 

What we are looking for

  • Proven safety experience gained in a similar role within a complex operating environment
  • Experience leading a team during a time of change
  • Project management experience, including ability to develop and implement strategies, policies, plans and procedures
  • Demonstrated effective decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills 

 

We can offer

  • $111,727.85 to 124,871.11.64 plus super
  • Permanent full time plus monthly RDO
  • Ongoing learning and individual development opportunities
