SafeWork SA has called for applications for  its Work Health and Safety (WHS) Innovative Practice Grants (IPG) program, which funds projects for the development and dissemination of innovative safety practices that contribute to reducing work injuries, diseases and fatalities in South Australia.           

 

A maximum of $50,000 is available for any individual project, with $130,000 of new funding is made availalbe each year from SafeWork SA.

 

Proposals for projects in the mining and quarrying industries are also welcomed as funding may be considered by the Mining and Quarrying Occupational Health and Safety Committee (MAQOHSC) in 2012.
