Maximising operational safety and minimising cost will be the topic of the Process Control & Industrial Automation Forum 2013, which starts in Melbourne on June 19.

The seminar seeks to inform attendees of the latest techniques in process automation to reduce human risk and increase output. Speakers will present best practices and real-life case studies on safety and security concerns, alarm system design, minimising and simplifying human interface, advanced process control integration and overall plant optimisation and efficiency.

Previous years’ forums have been attended by representatives of some of the biggest companies in manufacturing, including Rio Tinto, Visy, BHP Billiton and Caltex. This years’ forum is on at the Hilton on The Park in Melbourne from the 19th to 21st of June.
