As the Work, Health and Safety Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting various WHS initiatives within Marley Spoon. In close collaboration with the People & Culture team, you will be promoting a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and company policies. 

Your role:

• Advise managers and teams on health and safety, driving a robust safety culture throughout the organisation.
• Develop and implement WHS processes, collaborating with the National WHS Manager to enhance overall WHS performance.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures in coordination with production managers and team leaders.
• Review and update WHS policies and ensure adherence to legislative requirements, conducting regular audits and inspections.
• Promptly report hazards and incidents, support investigations, recommend preventive actions, and monitor trends to provide actionable insights for improving WHS systems and metrics.
• Manage ad-hoc WHS administrative tasks at site locations, including documentation, and record-keeping.

Requirements

This is you:

• Certificate IV or above in Work Health and Safety
• Proven experience in a WHS role, preferably in a fast-paced production or operations environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience with incident management platforms and safety data analysis preferred.
