About you

Reporting to the Manager Governance and Risk, you will provide proactive recovery and return to work services across the organisation to provide effective outcomes for injured workers and Life Care. You will effectively work within policies, best practice standards, legislative requirements and delegated powers and discretions as a self-insured employer under the Return to Work Act 2014 (SA).

You will have demonstrated experience as a Return to Work Coordinator, ideally in the aged care/health care industry. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational skills and the ability to problem solve and influence and negotiate effective return to work outcomes. You will be required to work both autonomously and as part of a team and with a high level of attention to detail.

Your education and experience

  • Minimum two years’ experience working in an injury management / return to work role
  • Relevant qualifications in injury management and return to work, including RTWSA accreditation as a Return to Work Coordinator
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to empathise and build effective relationships
  • A strong knowledge of relevant acts, legislation and work health benefits
  • Hold a current full unrestricted drivers licence
  • Aged care/health care industry and/or Allied Health background (advantageous)
