A bit about the role.....

Based in the heart of Sydney you will coordinate and drive the continuous improvement of BridgeClimb’s work environment through Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and procedures. As a passionate and an enthusiastic individual you will have a key focus on HSE system implementation and ongoing management, training, HSE Projects and contractor management. While partnering with the business to proactively resolve injury management and workers compensation cases as they arise. This is the perfect opportunity for a recent graduate with a few years experience ready to step into a role they can own while developing their current skills and experience. 

In addition to this, you will:
  • Ensure BridgeClimb HSE practices and procedures are in line with industry “best practice” standards
  • Keep up to date on legislative changes to ensure the compliance of BridgeClimb’s HSEQ Systems, policies and procedures
  • Partner with the business to ensure workplace incidents are accurately recorded and resolved
  • Provide advice and support to department managers to achieve key HSE accountabilities
  • Co-ordinate HSE internal and external audits with support from the Head of HSEQS
  • Promote BridgeClimb’s environmental-awareness culture in line with company Why, Vision & Values
  • Coordinate HSE training (including First Aid, Fire & Evacuation, Consultation, etc) to ensure compliance and meet business objectives
A bit about you.....
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an HSE advisory role supported by Tertiary Workplace Health and Safety qualifications or a related discipline 
  • Strong knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety regulations and legislation
  • Sound knowledge of Environmental processes and legislation in NSW
  • Experience with injury management and workers compensation processes and legislation in NSW
  • Return to Work and case management principles experience
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with proven stakeholder engagement
