 Why our team needs you 

Yarra Ranges Council is looking for a dynamic Contract Compliance Officer to join their team to assist in the delivery of Contractor OHS and compliance activities.

This position will have a core focus on safety associated with contractor management and will develop, implement and review Council’s Contractor OHS Management Systems and work practices, as well as provide support to Contract Managers across the organisation. 

  • Salary from $41.80 per hour (Band 6), plus superannuation
  • Permanent Part Time (22.8 hours per week) 

What you’ll bring to our team 

  • Qualifications and/or extensive experience in OHS
  • Experience in working with Contractors to maintain a safe work environment
  • Skills in empowering contract managers, providing timely guidance and feedback on safety requirements
  • Up to date knowledge of relevant standards and legislation
  • An understanding of contract management principles
