Manager, Wellbeing and Injury Management

The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity available for a full-time Manager, Wellbeing and Injury Management to join our People & Culture team. This role has a choice of locations, either our Brisbane or Broadbeach offices.

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the objective of the role is to support workforce wellbeing across all our sites through proactive health initiatives, a focus on injury prevention and supporting our team members in returning to work if they are injured.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Identifying opportunities for dnata catering Australia to improve the health and wellbeing of the workforce;
  • Managing the overall workers compensation & return to work process and working with leaders, team members and wellness partners to improve injury management outcomes;
  • Develop strategies and methods to reduce time lost and improve the return to work experience for team members when they are injured;
  • Lead, develop and grow a team of skilled injury management advisors who deliver the function across our locations in Australia.

The Person

This role will suit someone who has a passion for workforce wellbeing and who is prepared to build our approach from the ground up. The successful candidate will have a broad range of injury management experience, with previous success in improving injury outcomes and premium costs. They will also have strong skills in identifying and implementing initiatives that result in injury prevention.

Along with relevant qualifications, outstanding communication skills and a track record in stakeholder management, we are looking for someone who is passionate about people and wellbeing to be a hands-on member of our team.

The candidate must be able to travel interstate if required.
