About the role

Lead a team responsible for the development and implementation of Health Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W) frameworks and compliance across the Department to deliver HS&W services to support Departmental and Government \objectives.

About you

We are looking for an experienced leader with extensive knowledge and understanding of WHS legislation and demonstrated skills and experience in its application in a large workforce. You will have proven experience in developing strategies, plans and projects to facilitate the management of HS&W programs and create an organisational culture that supports WHS requirements. Your ability to coach senior executives effectively will enable you to provide high level-strategic advice to facilitate the management of WHS issues in an effective manner.

Essential requirements

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS, Human Resources or related or equivalent extensive WHS experience in a complex environment.
