The Group Leader Hazard Assessment reports to the Research Leader Land Personnel Protection, within the Defence Science and Technology (DST) Group. Under broad direction they are required to undertake work with a high level of complexity and sensitivity. They will be responsible for the provision of effective leadership of a team of scientists, engineers and technicians who define the Hazard Assessment Science & Technology Capability (STC). They will have a national or international reputation in Science & Technology, and considerable experience, awareness and knowledge across a range of Science & Technology (S&T) applied to Defence.
