Are you a highly skilled and passionate health safety and environment professional looking to join a team where you can lead and directly effect change? As Health Safety and Environment Coordinator supported by a Health Safety and Environment Officer, at Rous you will lead, manage and coordinate the delivery of strategy and programs to deliver health, safety and environment outcomes promoting a ‘safety first’ culture through innovative and creative change management practice.

Pay range is from $92,170 p.a - $107,811 p.a (plus statutory superannuation) and private lease motor vehicle.

Who are we?

Rous is a local government organisation specialising in water supply, weed biosecurity and flood mitigation. 

Where are we?

We have assets and infrastructure located across an operational footprint covering 3,000km2 which includes the areas of Ballina, Byron, Lismore and Richmond Valley in northern NSW.  We also provide some services to Tweed Shire and Kyogle Councils. 

Currently our main office is in Lismore however, by 2024 we will be relocating to new premises at Gallans Rd, Ballina, NSW, 2478.
