Senior HSEQ Advisor - [Archived Advertisement]

The role

It is an exciting time in the public transport industry and this role plays a key part in the way Transdev Western Australia will move forward with their HSEQ strategy. This exciting opportunity to partner with leaders at all levels of the business to continually improve our health, safety environment & quality management capability practices at all levels of the organisation. 

In this diverse role will you will drive key activities to improve the health and safety of our people, passengers and public, reduce our environmental footprint and improve our business resilience. If you enjoy looking at the bigger picture and driving change this role will allow you to make an impact whilst being part of a collaborative wider team.

• Partner with leaders, workplace champions and stakeholders to improve the businesses safety maturity
• Lead the delivery of risk, safety and compliance improvement projects.
• Operationalise our risk management framework from executive to front line
• Develop & implement the HSEQ improvement plan
• Manage & deliver the internal assurance program
• Actively manage the return to work function

What you bring

• Ideally you will have a tertiary qualification in a safety, environmental or risk management related discipline or equivalent experience
• Diverse experience delivering business partnering services within high risk high tempo industries
• A sound knowledge of contemporary practices and focusing on a people centred approach
• Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Bus Safety Act and Environment Protection Act
