The Position

Reporting to the Manager Human Factors Integration & Change this position provides support in the development and delivery of human factors activities across the MTM business. The role will provide governance and assurance of the corporate fatigue risk management program. It will also involve the application of broader human factors tools and methods to support projects and change events impacting the metropolitan rail network. .

Requirements

Whilst a postgraduate qualification in human factors, organisational psychology or an equivalent discipline is preferred, the successful candidate will have experience in fatigue risk management within rail or another similar safety critical industry. They’ll also be familiar with, and preferably experienced in, human factors integration and the application of HF tools and methods.

Previously they would have also worked within a large organisation, developing policy that reflects the risks and requirements of a wide range of roles. This position’s success will be assisted through the development of strong relationships with multiple business units.

There’ll also be an opportunity to further develop your capability in human factors integration.
