HealthShare NSW has available a Full Time - Permanent position as a Wellbeing Officer to work within the People and Culture Directorate.

This exciting position will allow you to utilise your current knowledge and experience and/or tertiary qualifications in human resources, health and wellbeing, health promotion or culture and organisational development, or progression towards same.

We are looking for a driven individual with the ability to communicate with various audiences through various mediums and well-development interpersonal skills.

To be successful in the position you will have demonstrated organisational and project management skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to proactively prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.

About the opportunity

This role will involve leading, coordinating and supporting the implementation and promotion of health and wellbeing programs, projects, and initiatives. To support our employees, achieve good health, fitness, and wellbeing you will be managing a range of health promotion programs such as (but is not limited to) Fitness Passport, mental health programs, activity challenges, smoking cessation, wellbeing platform and developing the Thrive Champion network.

You will be responsible for providing outstanding service to support our business lines implement health and wellbeing programs through effective communication and stakeholder engagement. You will also measure the level of engagement of initiatives and develop evaluation reporting.

You will also provide administrative and communication support to the broader Wellbeing, Culture and Communications teams as required and co-ordinate and deliver training and corporate inductions. Does this sound like you?

This is a Full Time - Permanent position graded as a Health Manager Level 1 with an annual salary of $76,152.00 to $102,438.00 (Excl. 10% superannuation). Location: Negotiable with hybrid working an option

  2. Provide an example of a time you had to evaluate a project/initiative you developed. What were some key considerations you took into account to determine success?

  3. What is your experience or interest in the health and wellbeing field? Provide an example of when you have applied sound evidence-based health knowledge.

You will be asked to complete a psychometric assessment (eg. personality and cognitive abilities assessments) in the recruitment process for this position.
