Band 5 - $67,003 per annum + Super

A Health and Safety professional (graduate) is required to assist in a progressive municipal environment.

In this role you will assist in the development, implementation and review of Occupational Health and Safety procedures/practices. You will also assist with the provision of OHS advice and training to Managers, Coordinators, employees, contractors, volunteers and community groups under the direction of the Risk, Health and Safety Coordinator.

You will have tertiary qualifications, the ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, ability to contribute to policy writing/implementation, gain cooperation and assistance from clients and others, highly developed communication and presentation skills as well as having the capacity to deliver training throughout the organisation.
