My client, a leading transportation organisation, is looking to recruit a Field HSE Advisor to join the team based in Brisbane’s eastern suburbs.

The ultimate responsibility of this role will be to foster the safe execution of work throughout the organisation. This will include a mixture of head office work as well as site based work. You will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation complies with all relevant legislative, regulatory, licensing and customer requirements and will be a key stakeholder support in all HSE matters.

Roles and responsibilities will include but not be restricted to the following:

• Assist in the ongoing development and maintenance of the organisation’s integrated management system and ISO certification
• Participate in and facilitate hazard identification, risk assessments and control programs
• Provide key stakeholder advice in all HSE matters.
• Manage safety case documentation
• Develop, coordinate and deliver HSE training programs
• Create audit and inspection schedule for each site

In order to be considered for this role you must have experience in a similar role, where you have provided key stakeholder support in an HSE role. You will have substantial health and safety experience and ideally have gained this experience in industries such as oil & gas, transport or other similar heavy industries. You will have a sound knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements, including Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulation, Codes of Practice and Australian Standards. Degree educated, you will have impeccable communication skill and the ability to influence at all levels.
