Quality and Education Manager - Aged Care

 

About the Role: As our Quality Education Manager, you will spearhead our commitment to delivering exceptional care and services in S.A. You'll lead initiatives ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, coaching our Care Home leadership team, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This is a full-time opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality-focused leadership and coaching to the care team.
  • Guide documentation processes to ensure compliance with expected outcomes.
  • Develop team members' understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Identify areas for skill development and create improvement plans.
  • Maintain the Care Home's Plan for Continuous Improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership for ongoing progress tracking and improvement.
  • Oversee the submission and analysis of Government NQIP program data.
  • Coordinate monthly Care Home Audits to ensure operational excellence.
  • Deliver highest quality clinical care to residents, ensuring person-centered approaches.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulations.

Skills and Experience:

  • Essential: Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent with current AHPRA registration.
  • Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in Aged Care and Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care and coaching.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
  • Understanding of Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Resident Rights.
