The City of Moreland is a fast growing city and home to more than 170,000 residents who are culturally and linguistically diverse, speaking more than 140 different languages. We are seeking a strategic and inspirational leader who is future focused and collaborative, with a track record of delivering results. You will be politically
astute, have a strong community focus and demonstrate the ability to build and maintain relationships that support strategic outcomes.

You will drive innovative strategic approaches to ensure the organisation’s policies, practice and services are contemporary, efficient and appropriate for our changing community, including the need for the organisation to service a more populous and diverse community. You will lead the social policy, community wellbeing, recreation and leisure teams, delivering projects and services to support this and for promoting the health and wellbeing of our community and increasing participation in sport and active recreation. You will work across the organisation to influence, embed and lead the cross organisational focus on recreation and community wellbeing within our community.
