Risk & Safety Officer

  • Full Time, Temporary (12 months contract)

We're an organisation committed to raising the profile of Risk and Safety. The Risk & Safety Officer provides staff, volunteers and contractors with day-to-day practical support to meet the broad range of needs across the City of Greater Bendigo operations.

The Risk & Safety Officer is investigative, supportive and plays a lead role in facilitating risk and safety initiatives in the organisation.

The successful candidate will have tertiary qualification in Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety or related disciplines, or significant workplace experience in Risk and Safety. You will also have a demonstrated knowledge of appropriate Acts, Regulations, Standards, Code of Practices (such as ISO 31000 and AS4801) and excellent interpersonal skills.
