Manager Health, Safety, Wellbeing & Quality Systems

Working with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) you will be supporting a team of dedicated professionals providing health care to people living and working in regional, rural and remote Australia. 

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive General Manager, People and Culture this role is responsible for leading, facilitating and implementing the organisation’s Safety Management System (SMS), Quality Management System (QMS), Risk Management framework and Wellbeing Program.

This role provides specialist advice, guidance and leadership to all staff and applicable contractors; and monitors and reports on the Safety and Quality Management Systems in line with the organisation’s strategic goals.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience in health, safety, quality and risk management, ideally in a health-related industry.  You will have experience overseeing internal and external audits; implementing health and safety, quality and risk management systems, and providing advice to managers and staff with regard to best practice.  You will be an experienced people leader with the ability to effectively influence and work collaboratively to achieve organisational goals.
