Senior OHS Advisor

About the role       

Reporting to the Manager, Programs Healthcare and Social Assistance, you will work as part of the Health Practice Unit with a key focus on program policy development and service delivery. You will be expected to provide advice, analysis and implementation of key projects and programs aligned to the Healthcare and Social Assistance sector to support and facilitate continuous OHS improvement.

  • You will lead and support key projects and programs targeted to the Healthcare & Social assistance sector
  • You will provide OHS knowledge, expertise and analysis in the Health Practice area
  • You will upskill Inspectorate by delivering training and developing tools to support inspections
  • You will support the development of guidance relevant to the healthcare and social assistance industry

About you

You are an experienced Health & Safety professional who wants to make a difference. Your communication and organisational skills are exemplary- You have a passion for Health & Safety.  You are a team oriented person who enjoys making an impact on your team and stakeholder.

  • You will have extensive Occupational Health & Safety expertise within a healthcare environment
  • You will have a deep understanding of best practice OHS Management Systems in healthcare and social assistance settings You will also have an understanding of statutory application and legislative requirements in the healthcare industry
