Funding Officer

The Funding Officer utilises expertise to provide specialist advice, management and review relating to all of WorkSafe’s health and disability provider fee schedules.

Key Accountabilities

This position will be responsible for ensuring all fees within WorkSafe’s systems are accurate and updated in a timely manner. More specifically the Funding Officer will:

  • Providing assistance to the Recovery, Planning & Performance division on the development of contracts, fees and other commercial related work
  • Have a clear understanding of all WorkSafe fee schedules, policies and payment system rules which relate to fees
  • Co-ordinate the annual indexation process
  • Maintain records for all fee related changes

About you

You are experienced in working as a part of a team and have a good knowledge of updating payment systems and maintaining system based financial controls. More specifically you are:

  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
  • Experienced in client/customer service experience
  • Have a demonstrated ability to work autonomously
  • Have the ability to liaise in a professional manner with a range of internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Commerce, Business)
