About the Role

Due to an internal transfer, we require a thorough and enthusiastic WHS Advisor to provide expert advice and support to assist teams and deliver exceptional service in all aspects of WHS. Reporting to the Head Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will:

  • Be the first point of contact providing an internal WHS consultancy/advisory service for the assigned teams/divisions
  • Coach managers and workers in improving health and safety through hazard and incident investigation, assessments, monitoring, observations and training
  • Deliver training and awareness programs for WHS
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives; attend and provide guidance to the WHS Committee
  • Co-ordinate WHS training.

About You

Use your significant experience in a WHS field to implement systems and monitoring to apply in a Media environment. Experienced in implementing strategies and initiatives, you are confident, organised and naturally analytical and can apply practical solutions that are appropriate to the needs of the business. In addition you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety or a related field
  • Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Well informed knowledge of WHS legislation codes of practice and guidelines.
