The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Compliance Officer will work within the Governance & Quality team providing OHS services to relevant staff and MDAS departments to ensure work practices are reflective and consistent with safe work practices.

The position ensures MDAS meets its compliance obligations including legislative requirements, policies and procedures. The OHS Compliance Officer will coordinate a multi-disciplinary team providing support and expert advice to Health Safety Representatives (HSR’s), Executive, managers and staff to provide skills to conduct intensive area inspections within each MDAS department in accordance with compliance obligations and best practice guidelines for health and safety.
