Workplace Health and Safety Queensland has released a new information sheet to help the state’s employers and employees reduce the devastating toll of workplace deaths and injuries.

Currently, around 25 Queenslanders are killed each year as a result of workplace incidents, and over 5,000 suffer a permanent injury.

The new information sheet has been designed to outline the help available to a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) to prevent a workplace injury and to help health and safety representatives, managers and supervisors to meet their duties under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
